Why Nerf Anything?
 WHY NERF? NERF: A change to the rules of a computer game that weakens a certain object or ability. REASONS TO NOT: Annoying Don't get what you paid for Makers work for nothing REASONS TO: Makes the game harder - but, aren't people happy the way it is? So, I've countered the only reason I can think of for people nerf stuff.  If anyone can think of a decent reason why ANet nerfs GW so much, or can counter my reasons why they shouldn't, I'd be happy to hear.

"Don't get what you paid for"? You got EXACTLY what you paid for. It even says on the box that the game play would most likely change.

If they never nerfed anything Guild Wars would have been dead by 2005 instead of 2008.

Nerfs are done to balance the game, other wise things like zb iway and heroway would still be supreme in pvp areas

You have to take the good with the bad. As annyoing as it is to see one of your favorite skills get nerfed, seeing one get buffed is that much sweeter.
It's an online game - updates are part of the deal, for better or worse. |
